Privacy Policy

We collect information in a few different ways: directly from you, automatically when you use Meloryn, and from third parties involved in billing, advertising, analytics, notifications, and feature delivery.

Because Meloryn is an AI music app, the content you submit to create music, including prompts, lyrics, and related instructions, is collected and processed so we can generate songs, return results, and maintain your library.

• Account information, such as your username, password, language preference, and other basic account details you choose to provide. Passwords are stored securely and are not kept in plain text.
• User-generated content, such as prompts, lyrics, titles, descriptions, song requests, song details, generated songs, library items, creation history, and task or status information linked to your account.
• Service and access records needed to manage usage limits, purchases, ad-supported access, rewarded ads, notifications, download rules, and general service operations.
• Device, usage, and diagnostic information, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, app interactions, crash data, logs, and performance information.
• Notification-related information, such as a push token or similar identifier, if you enable notifications.
• Subscription and purchase verification information received from the billing platform used for your purchase.

Unless a feature clearly requires it, please do not submit payment card numbers, government identification numbers, private credentials, or highly sensitive personal information about yourself or anyone else through prompts, lyrics, titles, descriptions, or other content fields.

If you choose to include personal or sensitive information in submitted content, that information may be processed, stored, logged, and shared with service providers involved in fulfilling your request.

We use information to:

• authenticate you and maintain your account;
• process prompts, lyrics, and related requests;
• generate songs and run related lyrics, karaoke, mashup, or other music creation jobs;
• store and sync your library, creation history, and task updates;
• enforce usage limits, download rules, and access controls;
• verify subscriptions, restore purchases, and provide ad-supported or rewarded access where available;
• localize the experience and remember preferences;
• diagnose failures, monitor performance, prevent abuse, investigate security issues, and improve reliability; and
• respond to account, billing, or support issues.

Meloryn relies on third-party service providers to support features such as hosting, media storage, music creation and related processing, subscription and payment handling, notifications, analytics, security, and advertising.

To provide music generation features, prompts, lyrics, song instructions, and related request data may be processed by providers involved in generating or delivering songs and related outputs.

If you use ad-supported features, including rewarded ads, ads may be served by third-party services such as Google AdMob. These services may collect or receive limited device and usage data (such as IP address, device type, app interactions, and ad performance data) under their own privacy practices.

Meloryn does not use tracking for personalized advertising purposes. Ads are provided using non-personalized data in accordance with platform policies.

We share only the information reasonably needed for the relevant feature. We use third parties that are required to protect user data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. Some third parties may process data under their own privacy policies when acting independently.

We do not control, and are not responsible for, the independent privacy, security, availability, or retention practices of third-party services.

We may use analytics and diagnostic information to understand how Meloryn is used, measure performance and reliability, improve features, and investigate problems.

If you enable notifications, we may store the information needed to send service, account, or task updates in your preferred language.

Paid subscriptions, including auto-renewable subscriptions, are handled through the billing platform shown at purchase (such as the App Store). We do not store your full payment card number.

We may receive and retain limited subscription and transaction records (such as subscription status and purchase verification data) to unlock features, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and provide support.

Subscription cancellation and refunds are handled by the App Store according to Apple's policies.

The mobile app may store certain information locally on your device, such as sign-in state, language preference, and app settings.

Removing the app or clearing app storage may delete this local data, but it does not automatically remove your account or server-side records.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the service and the information we hold. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

We keep different categories of data for different periods, depending on their purpose:

• Account, prompts, lyrics, generated songs, and related content are generally kept while your account is active.
• Logs and diagnostics are retained as needed to maintain reliability and prevent abuse.
• Subscription and transaction records may be retained longer for billing, audits, or legal obligations.
• Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten or securely deleted.

You can delete your account directly within the app.

When you delete your account, we begin removing or anonymizing core account data and associated content from our active systems. Some information may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, audit, or backup purposes.

We may preserve, use, or disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce our Terms, investigate fraud, protect the service, respond to claims, or comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request.

You can manage certain information and permissions through the app or your device settings, including deleting your account, changing preferences, and controlling notifications.

Where a feature depends on your consent or device permissions, you may withdraw that consent at any time through available controls.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date.
